Manager, Surgical Product/Brand Marketing – Downstream

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Manager to lead downstream marketing for its surgical product portfolio. You will shape product and brand strategies, drive promotional activities, and ensure profitable market performance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Define and align product strategy with local management and global marketing teams.
• Develop brand strategy, promotional campaigns, and tactical plans within allocated budgets.
• Implement and execute central and regional marketing initiatives, including events and professional education.
• Conduct market research, gather customer insights, and identify growth opportunities.
• Monitor product performance, manage brand budgets, forecasts, and expense controls.
• Lead cross‑functional brand teams and coordinate with product development throughout the product lifecycle.
• Create promotional activities that comply with internal SOPs and Code of Conduct.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product or brand marketing within the medical or surgical device sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate market data into actionable strategies.
• Leadership skills to guide and motivate cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
