About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our Department of Pharmacy for a three‑year PhD fellowship focused on solid‑state pharmacy. The project aims to develop innovative amorphous drug formulations that combine enhanced solubility with improved physical stability.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate the formation, stabilization, and confinement of amorphous drug forms within biocompatible particles.
- Design and execute experimental studies using state‑of‑the‑art solid‑state characterization techniques.
- Develop and apply computational modelling to predict amorphous variability and formulation performance.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate experimental data and modelling outcomes.
Required profile
- Highly motivated and dynamic researcher ready to start as soon as possible.
- Background in pharmacy, chemistry, materials science, or a related discipline.
Required skills
- Solid‑state characterization techniques.
- Computational modelling of pharmaceutical systems.
- Pharmaceutical processing and formulation development.
