About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our Department of Pharmacy for a three‑year PhD fellowship focused on solid‑state pharmacy. The project aims to develop innovative amorphous drug formulations that combine enhanced solubility with improved physical stability.

Key responsibilities

Investigate the formation, stabilization, and confinement of amorphous drug forms within biocompatible particles.
Design and execute experimental studies using state‑of‑the‑art solid‑state characterization techniques.
Develop and apply computational modelling to predict amorphous variability and formulation performance.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate experimental data and modelling outcomes.

Required profile

Highly motivated and dynamic researcher ready to start as soon as possible.
Background in pharmacy, chemistry, materials science, or a related discipline.

Required skills

Solid‑state characterization techniques.
Computational modelling of pharmaceutical systems.
Pharmaceutical processing and formulation development.
