Project Manager – Payments & Fintech

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the development of payment solutions, intelligent systems, and scalable platforms that drive financial inclusion in Peru. You will work in a fast‑paced, high‑availability environment, collaborating with engineering, design, and marketing teams to deliver resilient, locally‑flavored products.

Key responsibilities

• Define a clear product vision and long‑term roadmap aligned with company goals and Peru’s financial inclusion objectives.
• Identify market opportunities such as Open Finance Pix flows and one‑tap payments, and create strategies to capture them.
• Make data‑driven decisions while balancing customer needs and business objectives.
• Work cross‑functionally with engineering, design, and marketing to build and launch products.
• Accelerate time‑to‑market for merchants and banks by delivering robust product suites.
• Ensure product resilience; plan, test, and mitigate downtime scenarios.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering or Computer Science preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a product‑related role (Engineer, Lead, Product Manager, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Ability to read code or understand system architecture.
• Basic programming knowledge (any language).
