Quality Engineer II – Lima

About the role

Qualifacts, a leading provider of behavioral health software, is seeking a Quality Engineer II to join its Lima team. The role focuses on validating new product features, production fixes, and supporting test automation initiatives. You will work in a hybrid setting, spending two days per week onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and execute testing strategies across the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze business requirements and customer workflows to identify functional gaps, edge cases, and product risks.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases while ensuring traceability and defect management in TestRail and Jira.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and manual testing for web and mobile applications.
• Support production issue investigations by reproducing defects, validating issues, and documenting findings.
• Conduct isolation testing and root‑cause analysis as needed.
• Identify automation candidates and collaborate with the Automation team.
• Communicate intended behavior to technical and non‑technical audiences and actively participate in all Scrum ceremonies.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools to improve test design, analysis, documentation, and overall QA productivity.

Required profile

• Advanced level of English.
• Proven experience in Quality Assurance within an Agile environment.
• Familiarity with agile testing tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TestRail, and Jira.
• Hands‑on experience with regression, exploratory, and API testing (e.g., using Postman).
