About the role
Sovos is looking for a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive new revenue by selling its tax compliance SaaS solutions to large Financial Services and Insurance organizations. You will own the full sales cycle in an assigned territory, from prospecting to closing, while delivering a high‑performance record.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and grow opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Manage the complete sales cycle: target top prospects, conduct software demos, negotiate and close deals.
- Sell and promote Sovos SaaS‑based products and services to net‑new accounts in Financial Services and Insurance.
- Achieve profitable new‑business revenue growth and consistently meet or exceed quota.
- Maintain a balanced pipeline and accurate records in Salesforce.com.
- Leverage AI‑powered tools to prioritize opportunities and accelerate deal velocity.
- Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles ($100K+) and engage senior executives.
- Act with integrity and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of corporate selling experience with proven success in large Financial Services organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to close large enterprise opportunities and manage complex sales cycles.
- Experience selling SaaS‑based or outsourced services is preferred.
- Strong prospecting, targeting, and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding quotas.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and the Microsoft Office suite; comfortable adopting new sales technology and AI tools.
