Senior Software Engineer – AI & Go (Remote)

About the role

Coforge is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in AI and Go to design and deliver scalable backend systems. This remote position focuses on building intelligent automation and security‑focused solutions for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI‑centric microservices using Go and Python.
• Implement agentic AI workflows for vulnerability detection, automated penetration testing, and threat intelligence.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery from concept through production, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
• Lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of backend and distributed systems engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation, and AI‑driven application development.
• Proven ability to build, test, and operate cloud‑native microservices at scale.

Required skills

• Go (4+ years) and Python.
• LLMs, RAG, MCP, token and cost optimization.
• Microservices architecture, REST APIs, gRPC.
• Kubernetes, Docker, Google Cloud Platform.
• Kafka or Google Pub/Sub for asynchronous messaging.
• Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Unit testing, BDD testing, Agile methodologies.
• UML, Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) – preferred.
