Systems & DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes + On-Prem Infrastructure)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Systems & DevOps Engineer to join our client’s team on a remote, project‑based basis. You will work closely with designers and engineers, helping to design, implement, and maintain both on‑premise and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers in enterprise production environments.
• Design, configure, and maintain TCP/IP networking components, including routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPNs, firewalls, and SSL/TLS.
• Manage enterprise load‑balancing solutions, preferably F5 BIG‑IP.
• Oversee virtualized infrastructure, including host, cluster, and resource management.
• Support storage solutions and SAN platforms such as Pure Storage.
• Maintain web infrastructure components (Apache, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB) and NoSQL databases like Couchbase.
• Develop and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Work with AWS and hybrid‑cloud environments, building CI/CD pipelines and developer platforms.
• Monitor systems using Grafana, Prometheus and create automation scripts in Bash, Python or similar.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, systems administration, infrastructure or network engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
