Territory Sales Manager – Southern Zone (Arequipa)

About the role

The Territory Sales Manager will lead sales activities for Caterpillar’s construction and mining equipment portfolio in the Southern Zone of Arequipa. Reporting to regional leadership, you will drive growth by implementing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and building lasting relationships with customers and dealers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full sales cycle within the assigned geographic area, from prospecting to closing.
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams (service, finance, product) to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee dealer relationships, assist with forecasting, and support sales‑rental‑used strategy planning.
• Gather market feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of sales approaches.
• Support the rollout of new products and drive adoption among dealers and end‑users.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within heavy equipment, construction, or mining sectors.
• Strong ability to build and maintain long‑term customer and dealer relationships.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
