Android Developer (Kotlin) – Managed Devices

About the role

We are looking for an Android Developer who is passionate about building secure, reliable, and high‑performing mobile applications. You will work on native Kotlin apps that run on managed Android devices and kiosk‑mode environments, integrating hardware peripherals and ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build and support apps for managed devices and kiosk‑mode deployments.
• Implement WebView‑based solutions with JavaScript and CSS injection when required.
• Integrate and support peripheral hardware such as barcode scanners and receipt printers.
• Implement session management, inactivity monitoring, and automatic logout features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise application performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, UX/UI and Engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience developing native Android applications with Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, application lifecycle and architecture components.
• Experience with managed Android devices and kiosk‑mode environments.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
