Business Development Manager – Payments & FinTech (Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our payments and fintech partnership strategy across Latin America. The role focuses on building and deepening relationships with acquirers, issuers, payment service providers, and large merchants to drive growth and market penetration.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate and manage commercial agreements, partnership frameworks and joint business plans with acquirers, issuers, PSPs and major merchants.
• Collaborate with product, legal, compliance and operations teams to launch issuing and acquiring projects in the region.
• Monitor market trends, merchant behavior and competitive dynamics to inform data‑driven decisions.
• Support regulatory and industry engagement activities related to card issuing, merchant acceptance and digital payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 5 years of experience in payments, financial services or fintech within Latin America.
• Proven track record managing partnerships with acquirers, issuers, merchants or payment institutions.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; additional Portuguese or Mandarin is a plus.
