About the role
The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking a Data Full‑Stack Development Intern to support the Germplasm Health Unit in Lima, Peru. You will work on building and maintaining a web‑based application that manages pathology laboratory information and integrates with internal and external databases.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and produce a web‑based application for the Germplasm Health Unit, including interfaces to corporate, user, and external databases.
- Optimize the use and maintenance of historical data archives.
- Generate reports based on laboratory and germplasm data.
- Provide maintenance for AWS S3 storage used in bioinformatics analyses.
- Ensure system security, proper documentation, and readiness for production deployment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable solutions for CGIAR GHUs.
