Full Stack Laravel & React Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a Full Stack Laravel & React Developer to join its remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. The role involves building high-quality web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to innovative projects in a fast-paced consultancy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Implement interactive front-end features using React (and optionally Vue.js or Livewire).
• Write automated tests with Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk or Playwright.
• Integrate Inertia.js for seamless server-client communication.
• Participate in code reviews, estimate tasks, and ensure delivery aligns with client expectations.
• Continuously improve code quality, performance, and security.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (v8 or newer).
• Strong knowledge of Eloquent ORM, Laravel Authentication and Query Builder.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk or Playwright.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and using Inertia.js.
• Front-end development experience with React; familiarity with Vue.js or Livewire is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, proactive attitude and ability to take ownership of deliverables.
