Junior Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join a project for a leading telecommunications client in Chile. The role focuses on building and expanding a Lakehouse solution on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, supporting the client’s data modernization and future AI integration initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and implementation of the Lakehouse on Oracle Cloud.
• Migrate additional data sources into the platform.
• Develop and execute data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning pipelines.
• Utilize OCI services such as Dataflow, Datascience, AI Data Platform, and Autonomous Datawarehouse.
• Support the roadmap toward integrating Oracle’s AI platform.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in data projects covering ingestion, transformation, and provisioning.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Knowledge of cloud environments, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Nice‑to‑have: deep understanding of OCI services architecture.
