Latin America Business Unit Manager

About the role

Carpi Tech is seeking a dynamic Business Unit Manager for Latin America to lead its regional activities. The role combines strategic, commercial, operational and financial responsibilities, driving growth and ensuring alignment with the Group’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the LATAM business strategy in line with Carpi Tech’s Group objectives.
• Drive sales, marketing and business development to strengthen the company’s regional presence.
• Develop and manage relationships with clients, partners and key stakeholders.
• Oversee operations and project execution, ensuring quality, safety, cost control and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with engineering, technical and operational teams to deliver tailored waterproofing solutions.
• Lead and develop the local organization, supporting talent growth and team performance.
• Manage the BU’s financial performance, including budgeting, P&L and overhead control.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, Group policies and HSE standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering.
• 8+ years of proven experience in Business Unit leadership, general management or project‑based environments, preferably in infrastructure or engineering sectors.
• Strong commercial mindset combined with solid operational leadership.
• Experience managing multifunctional and multicultural teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
• Willingness to travel within the region.
