Legal Assistant – Mass Tort Litigation Support (Remote)

About the role

Join a long‑established U.S. personal injury and mass‑tort litigation firm as a Legal Assistant. Work remotely from Latin America, supporting complex cases against major corporations by reviewing records, qualifying files, and maintaining client communications.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical, military, and employment records in a cloud‑based database to assess case viability.
• Qualify incoming files against legal criteria for mass‑tort lawsuits.
• Conduct post‑intake follow‑up calls to collect missing documentation and detailed case information.
• Maintain persistent, professional contact with hard‑to‑reach clients via phone, SMS, and email.
• Complete court‑required legal forms and standardized templates.
• Manage client files, call logs, and data entries using cloud databases and VOIP phone software.

Required profile

• C1/C2 fluent English with excellent written and spoken communication.
• Prior experience as a legal assistant in a law‑firm setting.
• Proven ability to review medical and employment records and accurately complete standard court forms.
• Strong phone presence, empathy, and patience for frequent client interactions.
• Comfort working with cloud platforms, web‑based databases, and internet‑based VOIP phone systems.
• Commitment to a stable, long‑term opportunity (minimum 2‑year commitment).
