Legal Officer – Impact Investment Manager

About the role

Triple Jump, an impact‑focused investment manager, is seeking a Legal Officer to join its legal team. The role is based in either Tbilisi, Georgia or Lima, Peru and supports the firm’s debt‑focused investment mandates while also handling equity and fund‑of‑funds transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the legal aspects of investment contracting and the disbursement process.
• Provide general legal advice and specialised counsel on debt investments to the commercial team.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction documentation, including NDAs, waivers and loan agreements.
• Coordinate external legal counsel and collaborate with co‑investor counsel on joint fund transactions.
• Handle client requests related to legal issues and documentation.
• Ensure compliance procedures are correctly established and implemented.

Required profile

• Law degree with experience in investment‑related legal work, preferably in debt financing.
• Proven ability to draft, review and negotiate complex legal documents.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements in investment management.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and external partners.
