Marketing Assistant – Remote (US Digital Agency)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Marketing Assistant to support our US‑based digital marketing consultancy. You will manage social media, optimise client websites, and create high‑quality content for a diverse portfolio of brands, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Social Media Management: create, design (Canva) and schedule posts, perform basic video editing, ensure flawless grammar.
• Content & Copywriting: write press releases, blogs, newsletters and promotional emails.
• Digital Auditing: conduct and document audits to uncover growth opportunities.
• Website & Directory Management: make basic edits on WordPress, Wix and Shopify; maintain Google Business Listings and Yelp.
• SEO Optimization: improve on‑page SEO (meta tags, alt text, site structure) and monitor site speed and UX.
• Account Support: assist the supervisor with account management tasks and special projects.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in social media management, website optimisation or digital marketing.
• Proficiency with Canva and basic video‑editing tools.
• Familiarity with WordPress, Wix and social‑media scheduling platforms.
• Strong command of English grammar and ability to produce professional copy.
• Experience in a digital marketing agency and managing online directories is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical and excellent communication skills.
