The Principal Software Engineer at Outcode Software leads technical direction across multiple projects, ensuring high‑quality delivery and alignment with client expectations. This senior role combines strategic oversight, hands‑on development, and mentorship to drive engineering excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception to delivery, managing scope, quality, timelines, and budgets.
• Serve as primary technical contact for clients, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and decisions.
• Drive agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, planning, retrospectives) and enforce disciplined delivery practices.
• Perform thorough pull‑request reviews, offering actionable feedback to improve code quality and architectural consistency.
• Write or fix code as needed to unblock teams, resolve critical issues, or accelerate high‑priority work.
• Conduct periodic code audits to identify technical debt, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Unblock engineering teams by troubleshooting complex challenges and delivering solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and best‑practice definition across all assigned projects.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in software development methodologies and large‑scale system design.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and influence organization‑wide engineering standards.
