Project Manager - AI/ML

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of multimodal AI projects. This remote contractor position focuses on coordinating text, image, audio, and video AI initiatives for a fast‑moving team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of AI/ML projects across multiple modalities.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams of researchers, engineers, and data specialists.
• Translate complex AI requirements into structured roadmaps and actionable plans.
• Monitor KPIs, track progress, and proactively mitigate risks and bottlenecks.
• Optimize resource allocation to ensure high‑quality outcomes.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and productivity.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in project or program management, preferably in AI/ML.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage distributed, cross‑functional teams.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
