Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Migration (AWS to GCP)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead a large‑scale cloud transformation, migrating enterprise workloads from AWS to Google Cloud Platform. This full‑time remote position supports our nearshore teams across Latin America and works closely with developers, architects, security specialists, and SREs to deliver secure, automated cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate infrastructure on both AWS and GCP using Terraform.
• Create reusable IaC modules and deployment frameworks to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Plan and execute the migration of applications, services, and environments from AWS to GCP.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate application and infrastructure deployments.
• Implement and manage container platforms with Kubernetes (EKS and GKE).
• Embed security, governance, and compliance controls into cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to promote DevOps best practices and improve developer productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or platform engineering.
• Proven experience with large‑scale AWS environments and exposure to GCP.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
