Site Reliability Engineer - Telemetry

About the role

Join the Telemetry team to own and evolve the shared platform that provides metrics, logs, traces, alerts, dashboards, and profiling for production services. You will work closely with software engineers, platform teams, security engineers, and other SREs to ensure observability data is reliable, scalable, and easy to use.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and improve telemetry services for metrics, logs, traces, and profiling.
• Maintain Prometheus‑compatible monitoring stacks, VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, and modern alerting tools.
• Manage log pipelines using Vector, Splunk, and Loki, ensuring reliability and throughput.
• Run distributed tracing and profiling with Grafana Alloy, Tempo, OpenTelemetry, and Pyroscope.
• Deploy and manage telemetry infrastructure with Terraform, Terragrunt, and container orchestration across environments.
• Troubleshoot data gaps, slow queries, broken alerts, pipeline back‑pressure, and capacity issues.
• Build reusable automation for dashboards, alerts, and telemetry integrations.
• Participate in on‑call rotation, incident response, write runbooks, and drive platform improvements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, platform/infrastructure, or observability engineering.
• Proven ability to manage production systems that collect, process, store, and serve telemetry data at scale.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for distributed systems and automation.
