Software Engineer (Go + AWS) – Remote – Latin America

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer specialized in Go and AWS to join our talent network and work remotely with U.S. clients across Latin America. You will become an integral part of the client’s engineering team, collaborating daily with designers and other engineers to deliver high‑quality, production‑ready features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Go in production environments.
• Design, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
• Deploy and operate cloud‑native applications on AWS, with a focus on EKS.
• Contribute to frontend codebases when needed, handling small features or bug fixes in Angular, Ionic, or React.
• Own end‑to‑end system reliability, including CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work within fast‑paced, lean teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to ramp up quickly on new technologies.
• Experience in high‑growth or lean environments where engineers wear multiple hats.
• Commitment to long‑term product ownership and delivering on client commitments.

Required skills

• Go programming language.
• AWS services, especially EKS.
• PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization).
• Frontend frameworks: Angular, Ionic, React.
• CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
• Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Use of AI‑assisted development tools to boost productivity.
