Warehouse Operative – 6‑Month Contract in Amsterdam

About the role

We are a small e‑commerce team in Amsterdam looking for an experienced, hands‑on Warehouse Operative on a 6‑month contract. You will work alongside a tight‑knit on‑site crew, ensuring orders for two premium brands are processed accurately and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check, count and log incoming stock against purchase orders.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders to the required standard.
• Perform regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Order packaging and consumables when authorised.
• Coordinate casual warehouse staff during busy periods.

Required profile

• Solid hands‑on warehouse experience (goods‑in, pick‑and‑pack, dispatch, stock counts).
• Strong attention to detail; accuracy is prioritised over speed.
• Physically fit – able to lift and carry up to 20 kg regularly.
• Reliable, self‑directed and able to manage own workload.
• Some experience leading or coordinating warehouse staff (not a formal management role).
• Good written and verbal English.
• Registered or able to register as a ZZP contractor in the Netherlands.
• Reliable transport and easy access to the Amsterdam warehouse.

Required skills

What we offer

• Hourly rate of €22‑€27 depending on experience.
• Minimum 24 hours per week (3 days) with additional hours during container arrivals and peak seasons.
• Potential to extend beyond the initial 6‑month term.
