Bilingual Spanish-English EFL Teacher (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking native Spanish speakers with advanced English proficiency to teach beginner English learners online. The position is fully remote and involves both group and one‑on‑one sessions using a bilingual teaching model.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality English instruction to adult beginners in group and private classes.
• Utilise Spanish to support comprehension and bridge language gaps.
• Follow the CEFR framework to track student progress.
• Contribute to curriculum development and content creation when needed.

Required profile

• Spanish as first language with C1/C2 English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution.
• TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent certification (optional if degree is in English Language Teaching).
• Minimum 2 years of ESL teaching experience, preferably online.
• Strong knowledge of the CEFR framework.
• Ability to communicate professionally in both English and Spanish, written and verbal.
• Pass a background check and be available at least 10 hours per week, including 5 peak‑time hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency with online teaching platforms.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted or blended learning environments (highly advantageous).
