Business Development – Distributor Partnerships

About the role

We are looking for a Business Development professional to lead and expand our pharmaceutical presence across Latin America. The role focuses on building and managing distributor partnerships, driving market‑entry strategies, and overseeing product registration with regional regulatory authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the business development strategy for LatAm markets.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable pharmaceutical distributors and partners.
• Leverage existing industry relationships to accelerate market entry and expand distribution networks.
• Coordinate product registration and regulatory approvals in collaboration with regulatory teams and local partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations, including distribution agreements, pricing, and partnership contracts.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments.
• Work closely with internal regulatory, supply‑chain, and leadership teams to ensure smooth product launches.
• Represent the company at international pharma exhibitions, conferences, and distributor meetings.
• Track and report on business development performance and distributor outcomes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical business development.
• Strong network of pharmaceutical distributors across Latin America.
• Proven experience in product registration and regulatory processes in LatAm markets.
• Good understanding of pharmaceutical export, out‑licensing, and international trade.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
