About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our expansion across the LATAM region, focusing on Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Chile. Based in Bogota, you will drive market entry, product launch and partnership development for our pharmaceutical portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Identify high‑potential markets in Colombia, Ecuador and Chile based on commercial attractiveness and risk‑reward analysis.
- Select and evaluate in‑house products, develop detailed business plans and execute go‑to‑market strategies.
- Appoint marketing agents, build relationships with key regional stakeholders and negotiate distributor agreements.
- Explore opportunities to leverage US/EU‑registered products within the region.
- Coordinate regulatory filing processes, fast‑track dossier registration and secure main distributors.
- Prepare and finalize GTM plans, ensuring alignment across cross‑functional teams.
- Develop new trade and tender business opportunities.
Required profile
- Pharmacy degree (B.Pharm or M.Pharm) combined with an MBA (2‑year full‑time program) from a reputable institute.
- Proven experience in business development or commercial roles within a reputable pharmaceutical company.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross‑functional teams, manage country operations and open new markets.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Prior exposure to oncology or critical‑care therapies is a plus.
