Clinical Operations Financial Manager

About the role

The Clinical Operations Financial Manager will own country and site budgets, negotiate Clinical Trial Research Agreements and ensure financial compliance for clinical studies in Peru. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams, including finance, regulatory, legal and site staff, to deliver trial commitments on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, negotiate and finalize Clinical Trial Research Agreements (CTRA) and manage country‑specific budgets.
• Track and reconcile clinical research payments, oversee payment reconciliation at study close‑out, and maintain financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with FCPA, DPS/OFAC, local regulatory and financial regulations.
• Coordinate with CRM, CTC, CRA, finance and legal teams to meet submission, budget and milestone requirements.
• Lead risk‑management and mitigation plans, and provide mentorship to CTCs and other team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical research or combined clinical research and finance/business roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Finance, Administration, Life Sciences or related health‑care field.
• Strong knowledge of local regulatory environment and clinical trial start‑up processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
