Cost Coordinator

About the role

AECOM is looking for a Cost Coordinator to join its Lima office. The role supports large‑scale infrastructure, construction and transportation projects by managing cost estimates, budgets and related documentation throughout all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor project estimates and budgets from inception to completion.
• Coordinate and review quantity extraction from Revit models, develop Bills of Quantities, and perform unit price analysis.
• Collaborate with the Cost team to generate cost estimates using pricing databases and other data sources.
• Work with the Design team to produce specifications and technical documents required for design packages.
• Interact with suppliers to obtain quotations for services, equipment and materials.
• Develop and maintain unit cost databases using local sources.
• Analyze budgets, S‑curves, cash flow and prepare CAPEX for construction packages.
• Apply cost management KPIs such as SPI, CPI and Earned Value indicators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in building engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in cost coordination for large infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team and resolve conflicts professionally.
• Knowledge of AACE, PMI and PMBOK methodologies.
