Cybersecurity Specialist – Protect Digital Assets

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join Kyndryl’s Technical Specialists team. In this role you will protect our customers’ computer systems and networks from unauthorized access, malware, ransomware, phishing and other cyber threats while driving the adoption of innovative security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from multiple cybersecurity platforms to identify potential threats.
• Conduct proof‑of‑concept evaluations of new security tools and recommend integration strategies.
• Develop and execute automation scripts for threat‑hunting activities in customer environments.
• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on applications, operating systems and networks.
• Respond to security incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement remediation measures.
• Research emerging cyber threats and contribute to the creation of security policies and best‑practice documentation.
• Participate in security innovation projects, exploring novel approaches to strengthen defenses.

Required profile

• Strong interest in protecting organizations from cyber threats.
• Experience with security monitoring, incident response and vulnerability management.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional technical teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
