Finance & Operations Manager (Remote – Peru)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Finance & Operations Manager to lead financial and operational processes in a fast‑paced logistics environment. The role blends full‑cycle finance duties with day‑to‑day operational coordination, ensuring accuracy, accountability, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Review shipments for quote and billing accuracy, dispute carrier charges, and prepare weekly shipment billing.
• Perform full‑cycle AP/AR, create and send weekly invoices, and manage QuickBooks Online reconciliations.
• Coordinate weekly payroll using Deel, ensure multi‑state compliance, and handle new‑hire onboarding and background checks via Checkr.
• Process new orders, generate BOL/PRO numbers, assign carriers, and prepare logistics documentation.
• Manage vendor and carrier relationships, negotiate disputes, and monitor operational accuracy.
• Maintain operational spreadsheets, reports, and SOP documentation using Google Workspace tools.

Required profile

• 5+ years of advanced QuickBooks Online experience, including reconciliations, AP/AR, and weekly invoicing.
• Strong background in U.S. payroll processing (Deel) and compliance across multiple states.
• Proven experience in logistics or high‑volume shipment environments.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
