Financial Planning Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Planning Lead to support the preparation, analysis and reporting of financial information for the corporation. The role will help improve finance and operations controls and ensure high‑quality data for decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support the monthly financial close, reviewing P&L and balance‑sheet account balances for accuracy.
• Prepare month‑end finance reports and conduct variance analysis against plan and prior year.
• Reconcile account balances and analyse sources of information to enhance data quality.
• Participate in the development and implementation of accounting and operational policies, including process and system changes.
• Assist with the annual budgeting process.
• Liaise with internal finance, commercial, operations and business risk teams, as well as external auditors and tax advisors.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning or accounting within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards (NIF).
• Proven ability to meet deadlines while delivering accurate information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP functionalities.
• Understanding of IFRS accounting principles.
