Lecturer I – Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics

About the role

We are seeking a Lecturer I to join the Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate teaching and support the development of research programmes within the department.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and practical sessions for undergraduate courses in surveying and geoinformatics.
• Design and update course curricula, assessment materials and learning resources.
• Supervise undergraduate research projects and guide students in methodological approaches.
• Engage in scholarly research, publish findings and contribute to the department’s academic reputation.
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees and accreditation activities.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in surveying, geoinformatics or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated record of high‑quality publications with original contributions to knowledge.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience at the university level.
• Ability to initiate and supervise undergraduate research programmes.
• Registration with the relevant professional body where applicable.
