Manager, Time & Attendance (Lifecycle)

About the role

We are seeking a Manager, Time & Attendance to lead planning, implementation and service delivery for Remote’s Lifecycle Time & Attendance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Operations, you will shape global employment compliance and enhance customer experiences across 80+ countries.

Key responsibilities

• Guide, coach and develop a distributed T&A team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Lead performance management, recruitment, training and mentorship for regional team members.
• Serve as the final escalation point for complex wage‑hour disputes, policy interpretation and disciplinary matters.
• Partner with Operations, Product, Engineering, Legal and Employee Relations to improve T&A processes, SOPs and automation.
• Ensure compliant, efficient delivery of Time & Attendance services meeting KPIs and SLAs.
• Manage employee data securely and advise on handling sensitive T&A records.
• Champion responsible adoption of AI‑assisted tools, running pilots and establishing guardrails.

Required profile

• Hands‑on people‑management experience leading distributed, international teams.
• Proven track record in HR Operations across multiple countries.
• Deep expertise in Time & Attendance compliance, wage‑hour laws and policy exceptions, especially in APAC jurisdictions.
• Experience in fast‑paced, international scale‑up environments.
• Fluent English with strong data‑integrity and confidentiality practices.
