Mobile Performance Engineer (iOS) – Remote

About the role

As a Mobile Performance Engineer (iOS), you will focus on optimizing the efficiency and responsiveness of iOS applications. You will ensure a high‑quality user experience by identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks related to memory, battery life, and interface fluidity.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize iOS application startup time and scrolling performance to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Monitor and reduce memory usage and battery consumption using Xcode Instruments and other profiling tools.
• Identify and resolve complex performance regressions through deep‑dive analysis of Swift code and system frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for resource management and efficient coding.
• Design and execute performance testing strategies to proactively catch regressions before they reach production.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Mobile Development, or Performance Engineering.
• Proven expertise in optimizing iOS application performance, including memory and battery consumption.
• Proficiency in using Xcode Instruments for profiling and identifying performance bottlenecks.
• Strong background in Swift development and iOS system internals.
• Hands‑on experience improving startup times and UI responsiveness for mobile applications.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
