About the role

Join Ausenco, a rapidly growing global leader in engineering, as an Intermediate Process Engineer within our Minerals & Metals division. Based in our San Isidro office, you will play a key role in developing innovative process designs and delivering high-quality engineering solutions for complex mining projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop process designs across various project stages, including studies, basic engineering, and detailed engineering.
  • Provide essential technical support, including equipment sizing calculations, PFD, and P&ID development.
  • Supervise metallurgical testing and trials to ensure design accuracy.
  • Estimate operational costs (OPEX) and manage budgets and resource forecasting.
  • Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to deliver optimized designs following industry best practices.
  • Integrate innovation and lean thinking into process designs while staying updated on technological advancements.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership in industrial safety and environmental standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in mineral processing (either in consultancy or mining operations).
  • Proven ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to industrial safety and continuous improvement.
  • Advanced proficiency in English is highly appreciated.
