About the role
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Procurement Assistant to support the Global Clinical Supplies team. You will be responsible for managing procurement and financial processes related to clinical supplies vendors, ensuring accurate purchase requisitions, orders, and invoice handling.
Key responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders (POs).
- Monitor PO lifecycle, resolve discrepancies, and validate vendor invoices.
- Support invoice reconciliation and report invoice issues.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Ensure compliance with procurement and financial procedures.
Required profile
- Advanced English with strong written and verbal communication.
- At least 2 years of experience in clinical trials or supply chain procurement.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team under moderate supervision.
- Adaptability to change and capability to handle high‑pressure situations.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
