Project Engineer (Temporary)

About the role

Mondelēz International's Latin American unit (Wacam) is hiring a temporary Project Engineer in Lima. The role supports capital project execution and helps plan, develop and execute capital projects, technical development and feasibility studies for engineering activities in the supply chain, while ensuring Mondelēz standards and project management processes are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Help define and deliver the capital and technical agenda during the development phase of capital investments, working with stakeholders to provide accurate budgets, plans and fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
• Develop the capital budget according to the contract and forecast cash flow.
• Ensure applicable engineering developments and standards are properly implemented.
• Support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices.
• Be accountable for the quality of results and execution of capital projects using Mondelēz standards.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Electrical, Automation or similar).
• Experience leading and executing projects.
• Basic to intermediate English.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Automation, electrical and digital projects (preferred).
• Project management.
• Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Stakeholder and contractor management.
