Python/Django Software Engineer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

FullStackFullStack is looking for an experienced Python/Django Software Engineer to join client teams on remote, project‑based assignments across Latin America. You will work closely with designers and engineers, contributing to high‑performance backend services and distributed systems.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate into client development teams and collaborate daily with designers and engineers.
• Design, build, and scale backend services using Python and Django.
• Develop and maintain PostgreSQL databases and other SQL/NoSQL stores.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization (OAuth/OIDC).
• Create and maintain APIs and service‑to‑service integrations.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Helm).
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Work with event streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Completed a four‑year college degree.
• Proven ability to work 40 hours per week remotely.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and large, complex systems.
