Resident Engineer – Peru

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Resident Engineer to work on‑site at a major customer location in Peru. The engineer will act as the trusted technical advisor for Radware’s security portfolio, ensuring successful design, implementation and ongoing maintenance of solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own post‑sales relationship with the customer and become an integral member of their engineering team.
• Lead onboarding of Radware services, analyse technical needs and customise solutions.
• Collaborate daily with Radware Professional Services, Global Support, Cloud Operations, R&D and Product Management.
• Perform periodic tuning, configuration optimisation and adhere to best‑practice standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues on Radware equipment.
• Develop and standardise operational procedures for the customer environment.
• Generate weekly status reports and conduct regular technical meetings with the customer.
• Coordinate new business opportunities and technical solutions with the pre‑sale engineering team.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of networking and security integration experience.
• Strong customer orientation with proven on‑site support background.
• Hands‑on expertise with L2/L3 switching and routing, and L4/L7 switching (Cisco, Juniper).
• Experience with load balancers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN and IPsec technologies.
• Proficiency with virtualization platforms such as VMware and KVM.
• Good knowledge of Linux environments and scripting (Bash, Perl, Python).
• Relevant networking or security certifications.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, written and verbal communication skills in English.
