About the role

The School Nurse will provide comprehensive health care services to students, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for learning. Working closely with staff, parents, and external healthcare providers, you will promote student wellbeing, conduct health screenings, and respond promptly to medical needs. This role is central to maintaining a healthy school community and supporting the overall educational mission.

Key responsibilities

• Administer first aid and medical care to students.
• Manage student health records and oversee medication administration.
• Deliver health education and support to students and staff.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and parents regarding student health concerns.
• Monitor student health status and conduct regular health screenings.
• Develop and implement health policies in line with school guidelines.
• Provide counseling on nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.

Required profile

• Valid nursing qualification and appropriate licensure.
• Experience in school healthcare or pediatric nursing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient during emergencies.
