SDET II – Test Automation Engineer

About the role

Qualifacts is seeking a skilled SDET II to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for API, UI, and backend systems. You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate closely with developers to ensure high‑quality software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design, scale, and maintain automated test frameworks for API, UI, and backend integration.
• Integrate and run automated tests within CI/CD pipelines for each new build.
• Partner with software developers to review code, understand architecture, and identify automation opportunities.
• Build infrastructure for load, stress, and performance testing.
• Debug failures, analyze test results, and reproduce issues to guarantee release quality.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency.
• More than 3 years of professional experience in test automation and software development.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright (mandatory).
• Additional experience with Selenium, Appium, REST Assured, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Copilot (preferred).
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, C++, or JavaScript.
• Experience with deployment pipelines and source‑control tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Docker).
