Senior Software Engineer (React/Python)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in React and Python to join Coforge’s remote development team in Peru. The role involves building and scaling modern web applications, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and driving technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, React, and related technologies.
• Build and optimise backend services, data flows, and performance using MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch and Sidekiq.
• Collaborate with product, QA and DevOps teams to implement new features and resolve issues.
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to code reviews and best‑practice guidelines.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuously improve engineering processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering or full‑stack development experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
