Senior Technical Product Manager: Infrastructure and Platforms

About the role

Alpaca is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to own the definition, roadmap, and delivery of its internal infrastructure and developer platform. Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, you will guide platform maturity, cost efficiency, and global scalability for a fast‑growing fintech organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve a platform maturity model, delivering self‑serve infrastructure on golden paths for internal engineers.
• Maintain and prioritize a multi‑quarter roadmap, central backlog, and intake process for Platform & Infrastructure.
• Drive reduction of maintenance windows and achieve 24/7 deployability across global markets.
• Partner with Finance to make cost attribution and chargeback a first‑class product feature.
• Increase CI/CD and developer‑platform adoption by collaborating with DevOps (ArgoCD, service mesh, API gateway) and Platform teams (AuthX, event streaming).

Required profile

• 7+ years as a TPM or technical product manager with ownership of infrastructure, platform, or developer experience.
• Proven ability to run a multi‑team backlog, intake, and roadmap without direct reporting authority.
• Experience in market‑hours‑sensitive or regulated production environments.
• Strong technical fluency to partner with senior engineers on compute infra, CI/CD pipelines, data stores, networking, and cost drivers.
