Accounting Manager

About the role

Third way health is seeking a full‑time Accounting Manager to lead the day‑to‑day accounting operations of its Peruvian entity. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will ensure compliance with local tax authorities and IFRS standards while supporting the consolidated reporting of the global organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records under IFRS / NIC‑NIIF and ensure they feed correctly into the parent company’s consolidated statements.
• Prepare and file statutory financial statements in compliance with SUNAT requirements.
• Manage Peruvian tax obligations, including Impuesto a la Renta, PDT filings, and electronic billing (SEE).
• Oversee IGV credit management and export‑service invoicing.
• Sign off financial statements as the designated Contador responsable.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and pre‑payments.
• Perform detailed bank reconciliations and resolve any unreconciled items before close.
• Execute intercompany reconciliations and maintain a clean balance each cycle.
• Administer the fixed‑asset register, applying IFRS 16 for lease assets and liabilities.
• Supervise accounts payable and coordinate with external payroll vendors to validate payroll filings.
• Maintain robust internal controls and support transfer‑pricing documentation.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification recognized in Peru.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in full‑cycle accounting, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Fluent English (B2 or higher) for regular communication with US‑based stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
