Luxury Ship Butler (Peru)

About the role

The Butler is responsible for delivering an exceptional, personalized in‑suite experience to guests aboard a luxury vessel operating in Peru. Acting as the primary liaison between guests and all hotel and marine departments, the Butler anticipates needs, ensures seamless service, and maintains the highest standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and orient guests to their suite, amenities, ship offerings, ports of call, and Retreat privileges.
• Serve as the guest’s personal point of contact, coordinating inter‑departmental communication to guarantee flawless service delivery.
• Conduct taste‑testing and quality checks of all food, beverage, and service items before guest consumption.
• Champion continuous improvement of service standards within the Retreat program.
• Collaborate with other Retreat areas to share guest preferences and enhance the overall experience across all venues.

Required profile

• Minimum two (2) years of guest‑facing service experience in a luxury environment.
• Fluent, clear, and courteous English communication, both spoken and written.
• Professional appearance with a warm, welcoming demeanor.
• Strong emotional intelligence, resourceful problem‑solving, and basic conflict‑resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of food and beverage service.
