About the role
We are seeking a proactive Marketing Assistant to support a US‑based digital marketing consultancy. The role focuses on social media management, website optimization, and content creation for a diverse client portfolio, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Create, design (using Canva) and schedule engaging social media posts, including basic video editing.
- Write high‑quality press releases, blogs, newsletters, and promotional emails.
- Conduct digital audits and produce reports identifying growth opportunities.
- Perform basic edits on WordPress, Wix, and Shopify sites; manage Google Business Listings and Yelp directories.
- Implement on‑page SEO improvements such as meta tags, alt text, and site structure; monitor site speed and user experience.
- Assist the supervisor with account management tasks and special projects.
Required profile
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, website optimization, or digital marketing.
- Proficiency with Canva and basic video editing tools.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Wix, and social media scheduling platforms.
- Strong command of English grammar and ability to produce professional copy.
- Experience in a digital marketing agency and managing online directories is a plus.
- Detail‑oriented, analytical, and excellent communication skills.
