Mechanical Engineer & Python Expert – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong Python expertise to design and develop computational engineering problems for AI training projects. This freelance, project‑based position involves creating realistic engineering scenarios, coding solutions, and validating results.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational problems that simulate real engineering workflows.
• Develop Python‑based tasks requiring numerical methods, iterative solutions, and optimization.
• Incorporate system design, analysis, and practical engineering constraints into problem statements.
• Validate solutions using Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
• Document problem descriptions clearly and provide verified correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional, research, or teaching experience in engineering or related domains.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
• Experience with international or applied projects is a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, Pandas, SciPy (or equivalent numerical libraries).
• MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Stata (any can be considered equivalent).
