Ports Digital Infrastructure Lead

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Ports Digital Infrastructure Lead to drive business development and technical delivery for critical infrastructure projects across the Latin American region. The role combines strategic market insight with deep expertise in IT/OT security, ensuring safe and efficient movement of goods through ports, airports and logistics hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, mature and capture new business opportunities in ports, airports and logistics hubs.
• Translate complex client requirements into technical cybersecurity and physical security proposals.
• Act as AECOM’s regional technical point of contact for cargo transport security solutions.
• Define comprehensive security architectures for integrated IT and OT environments.
• Establish technical criteria, specifications and standards for security projects.
• Prepare technical documentation and specifications for procurement processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, decision‑makers and technology partners within the logistics ecosystem.

Required profile

• Proven track record in design, deployment and operation of critical infrastructure (ports, airports, logistics hubs).
• Strong business development experience in the Latin American market.
• Advanced technical vision for operational safety and cybersecurity (IT/OT).
• Ability to convert client needs and industry trends into compelling commercial proposals.

Required skills

• IT networking (LAN/WAN), server and database management.
• Enterprise systems (ERP, email, cloud platforms).
• Cybersecurity architecture for IT/OT convergence.
• OT technologies: SCADA, PLC, industrial automation.
• Automation systems for ports, airports, trains, traffic control, cranes and conveyor belts.
• Physical security systems: CCTV, access control.
• Technical writing for specifications and procurement documentation.
