Product Manager – Mining Equipment

About the role

The Product Manager will lead the full product lifecycle for mining equipment at LiuGong Peru, from concept through market launch, ensuring alignment with customer needs and the company’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and drive product strategy and positioning for mining and construction machinery.
• Lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, coordinating design requests from China.
• Adapt product applications to field conditions and provide technical solutions to the sales team.
• Organise training and technical support for dealers and customers.
• Manage the product team, monitor product performance, and recommend improvements based on ROI and feedback.
• Support sales with training materials, technical documentation, and product launches.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the excavator or mining equipment sector, with a background in product management.
• Engineering or business‑management education, preferably with project‑management experience.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Positive, learning‑oriented attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
